Empty Filter Mounts are intended to attach unmounted filters or other optical components to the front threads of most imaging lenses. For maximum durability, the mounts are constructed entirely of aluminum with a black anodized finish. These empty filter mounts accommodate a range of diameters and thicknesses and also allow combining multiple filters to achieve custom optical densities. The mounts facilitate seamless integration of Edmund Optics’ full selection of Optical Filters into imaging systems. Empty Filter Mounts are essential for labs and production facilities and ideal for a variety of demanding imaging applications requiring bandpass, notch, edge, dichroic, color substrate, or neutral density filters.
