The Pixelink® USB 2.0 cameras offer an exceptional price-to-performance ratio for machine vision applications. With a variety of sensor options, these cameras are ideal for a variety of demanding applications. A rich function set, including external trigger, global shutter control, ROI sub-sampling, and dynamic range control, is fully controllable via software, allowing for quick "out of the box" operation.

Data and power are supplied over a single USB cable (not included), eliminating the need for costly cabling, capture boards, and power supplies.

Additional accessories, including cables and mounting brackets, must be ordered separately. Cameras use #58-190 ¼-20 Camera Mount and #57-174 Trigger Accessory. #63-237 USB2.0 Cable required for operation.

MegaPixel USB Board Level Cameras

Pixelink® offers each series of cameras in board level versions with the same specifications and performance in an OEM-type package. These board level cameras are designed for easy adaptability into many machine vision applications. Advanced hardware triggering and camera control can be utilized through the header included on the camera body. The camera is offered individually without housing or software and is only suggested for individuals familiar with integrating OEM electronics.

Developer's Software #58-179

The Pixelink® SDK contains a full Application Programming Interface, along with a sample application with full source code, LabVIEW™ wrappers and full documentation. The SDK is compatible with Visual Basic, Visual C and Visual C++ on Windows™ 2000, XP and Vista (32-bit) platforms. With the SDK, developers can integrate Pixelink® cameras into their custom applications with ease. The API is based on an object-oriented model where the camera contains all the information about its capabilities and functions. A small set of API functions can be used to determine and control the feature set supported by the camera. Integration is simple and fast. The SDK includes the Pixelink® Developer’s Application, a sample application that controls all the camera functions and demonstrates camera performance. The Developer’s Application provides integrators with examples of how a Pixelink® camera can be integrated into a complex application. As well as full source code for the application, the Developer’s Application also provides an API function call log that shows the sequence of API calls used and the parameter values any time a control on the GUI is accessed.
