Clemens Dicke is an experienced technology and sales leader with a strong background in ultraprecision manufacturing and optical engineering. As Head of Sales & Technology at Edmund Optics son-x GmbH, he drives the strategic development of advanced machining solutions and supports customers in implementing high precision optical manufacturing processes. Before assuming this role, he spent more than a decade at son-x GmbH, where he progressed from project manager to leading the company’s systems division and later its sales and technology organization. His work spans complex project management, process optimization, and the translation of cutting edge manufacturing technologies into industrial applications. Clemens holds a Master of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Kaunas University of Technology, graduating with top honors, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering from Koblenz University of Applied Sciences. His combined technical expertise and customer focused leadership make him a trusted partner for organizations seeking innovation in precision optics manufacturing.

Ramazan Ayhan

Business Development Manager for Precision Optics


Ramazan is the Business Development Manager for Precision Optics at Edmund Optics. In this role, he identifies growth opportunities, aligns customer needs with technical solutions, and drives strategic initiatives in precision optics markets. He joined Edmund Optics in 2018 as a Solution Engineer, initially focusing on evaluating the technical feasibility of custom-engineered optical solutions. Through this role, he built a strong foundation in customer requirements, application analysis, and advanced manufacturing capabilities. Ramazan holds a B.Sc. in Physical Engineering and an M.Sc. in Applied Physics from Hochschule RheinMain, with a specialization in renewable energy and medical technology. His academic work includes research on ultrashort pulse laser processing of ultra-thin glass and the analysis of particle sizes in microfluidic channels.
